My husband & I got married 17 years ago. When we first married I was a bonified Lipton (sweet iced) and (hot) tea drinking fanatic. I can't remember the year but Lipton had a promotion that allowed us to receive a Stanley thermos with the Lipton Logo on it and a cooler in exchange for 100 Lipton proof of purchase seals. I gave the thermos to my husband for his use at work where Stanley took a hard beating, being thrown in the back of the truck, dropped on the shop floor, and more. After a strong 15 or so years, the vacuum seal finally gave way. However, in just the past 2 or 3 years I have unsuccessfully bought my husband at least 3 other brand thermoses, none of which made it through even a complete year. Just wanted to let you know, our Stanley was the best thermos we ever had. I want to bring a new Stanley back and with better care this time I 'm sure he'll make it through the remainder of me & Mr. B's marriage (probably longer).
